Welcome to Quincy Tennis Club
President's Message
Founded in 1887, Quincy Tennis Club is one of the oldest, private tennis clubs in the country.
With five, brick-red clay courts and clubhouse facilities that include a spacious viewing porch, separate rest rooms with showers for men and women, soda machine and refrigerator, the club is the finest outdoor clay court facility in the Boston area.
During normal times our active members participate in social round robins, annual tournaments, inter-club events as well as celebrating each new season with an Opening Cookout with New Member Tourney and an Annual End of Year Party in October. During the pandemic last season, we met or exceeded the guidelines for safe play at Quincy Tennis Club. This enabled our members to enjoy a year full of tennis on the clay in 2020 and we look forward to more of it for the 2021 season.
There are a limited number of private memberships available for Families, Men, Women and Juniors. Prospective members can learn more about the Quincy Tennis Club and apply for membership by viewing the information in "Benefits of Membership" link to the left of this message.

QTC 2022 LOBSTER TOURNAMENT RESULTS!
On Saturday, June 25th, the Lobster tournament finalists, Sharyn Clemente, Taylor Grifa, Chris Prudente and Hank Lynch all fought hard in the heat of the day. Congratulations to the eventual winners:
Women's Final: Sharyn Clemente def. Taylor Grifa 6-1, 7-5
Men's Final: Chris Prudente def. Hank Lynch 7-5, 7-6 A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to the Tournament Committee of Jim Rougvie and Bryan Provenzano for their match and player management, court coordination, general tournament oversight and keeping everything on schedule. Thanks, too, to Madonna Murphy for the posters and timely communications on FB throughout the tournament.

Our Social Committee planned the lunch which was well executed by Tony Donadio and Kathy McAndrew who ensured it, the Tennis Cake and desert were there fresh and on-time for the masses! And thank you to members and friends who brought other treats to share.
Finally, we extend a big thank you to all the players and finalists that made it a great competitive tournament and finals this year on the 135th Anniversary of QTC.
Next will be the annual QTC Club Tournament, with signup sometime in July. Details to come!

Happy 135th Anniversary to us!
On Saturday, June 4th at the opening cookout, we celebrated with a custom cake, traditional cookout fare and our first-ever pig roast. Thanks to the QTC Social Committee: Rebecca, Amy, Kathy and Tony for coordinating and handling all of the upfront preparation, cooking and clean-up, for Ambassador Madonna for handling new-member orientation and thanks to our new member, Mauricio for his cooking STY-le with the pig roast. Thanks to all members and their family members who came, partied and played, purchased new apparel and participated in the Raffle - Winner of the Tennis Tote Bag was Steve Masiello .
